Junk Food and Future Days

Junk Food is a youth culture anthology created by Ramzee featuring comics, articles and more. I illustrated a 13 page comic written by Ramzee called Rebel Grrrl. The book is now available to order through Big Cartel.

I’ll be taking a small selection of music zines to Future Days hosted by This Is TMRW (sold out). Unfortunately their Saturday show has been cancelled but I’ll be there selling zines Friday and Sunday.

(Please note: I may need to leave earlier Sunday night due to weekend train times)

Thank you so much to everyone at London MCM Comic Con! I had a busy weekend drawing commissions! I just have one commission left to finish, so your commission is either in the post already or will be posted Monday morning.

My next convention will be Birmingham MCM Comic Con at the NEC! Look out on twitter or the events page of this website for a map nearer the day. My table number will be CV22 in the Comic Village section of the show.

I've got a couple of new events booked for the autumn convention season. In September I'll be at High Vis Street Art Festival & Thought Bubble. I met up with some friends this week and made some more Honduran Tent Making bats to decorate the table. I'll have Free Mini Comics to hand out!

On Saturday I had a chilled out Small Press Day visiting Solid Gone Art Fair and then spent the afternoon at Nostalgia & Comics. Thank you to everyone who stopped by my table.

I get a couple weeks off from events and the next show will be Manchester MCM Comic Con on 28th-29th July 2018. I'll have a full table and will be offering ink convention commissions (please come by early if you would like to take it home on the same day). There will be a brand new free mini comic to hand out!

I had some new sticker designs arrive in the post this week! The characters are from a project I've been developing about a paranormal riot grrrl band called Go Eat Worms. The invisible ghost guitarist has been printed on transparent stock and the mantis shrimp woman is holographic. They are available to order through my Etsy shop.

2 Events, in 2 Counties, in 1 Weekend!
2 events!.jpg

I'm going to be at 2 events in 2 counties over 1 weekend! Fun fact: there's 287 miles between the 2 venues! I have a full table at both events but the layout will be tailored slightly to suit the audience of the show so here's some more information ...

At Glasgow Comic Con on Saturday, you'll be able to find my table C21 in the corner of the Clyde Foyer. I'll have free mini comics to hand out so please come by and say hi! I'll be bringing all the usual slice of life and music themed comics and zines along with the new risograph prints and plectrums.

Ink portrait commissions were popular at this particular show last year so I'd recommend coming by early to place an order if you would like to collect on the same day. Any extra commissions can be finished the following week and posted and/or emailed to you!

I'll be teleporting back home from Scotland to collect a new box of stock ready for the Birmingham Zine Festival. Again I'll have free mini comics to hand out! This particular event is a much smaller affair so I won't be bringing the giant commissions sign, but I'll make sure to cram as many comics and zines onto the table as possible!

There will be lots of events happening in and around the Zine Festival including the return of Laydeez Do Comics Birmingham on Monday 2nd July! With guest speakers Rhiannon Nichols, Louise Byng and Steve Tannor.

If you can't make it to either Glasgow or Birmingham this weekend, please check the events section of this website for an up to date list. Don't forget I also have an online shop with international shipping available!

London MCM Comic Con May 2018

Thank you to everyone at London MCM Comic Con! I had such a overwhelming weekend working on so many ink commissions. Thank you to everyone who stopped by my table! Special thanks to my friend Sarah Fogg who helped over the weekend!

I've managed to get a last minute table at Glasgow Comic Con on Saturday 30th June through their waiting list. I'm super excited to return this year since I had such a great time in 2017! I'll be taking all the usual comics zines, and free mini comics along with commissions equipment. Last year commissions were busy at this one, and unlike London I wont have Sarah there to help me with the table, so please come by early if you'd like to make sure to pick it up on the same day! Hopefully I'll be able to post out any extra commissions if I run out of time.

I'm excited about the return of the Birmingham Zine Festival on Sunday 1st July! This is the day after the Glasgow show, I've booked the overnight coach down from Scotland so I can still get involved!

Hopefully I'll see you there!

If you're not near Glasgow or London please don't forget to check the events section of the website for an up to date list! I also have an Etsy shop which ships internationally!
